On June 27th 1998, Melody Ministries sponsored a Purity Luncheon, in honor and recognition of youth and young adults who committed their single lives to abstinence and was willing to publicly stand up and be counted. Thus was birthed the PurityJam.

The response in the community and in the church was so great that presently we are campaigning and collecting 2001 more names to commit to abstinence until marriage. These participants are honored and celebrated. They receive training and support from alumni members on how to remain victorious in purity. I'm worth the wait," is the exclamation roared by the participants in local areas, as they walk down the aisle and proclaim their commitment to abstinence.

PurityJam have been the catalyst that have ignited the fire in the minds of our youth. Our mission is to provide an alternative lifestyle to teen sex, unwanted pregnancy's, abortions, drugs, alcohol and hatred. To challenge youth with spiritual and practical principles, which enables them to have good decision making skills and self discipline.

Our desire is to spread this message to the four corners of the globe. We are looking for people with hearts for our youth to assist us with prayer, support and finances.

among our youth, both churched
and unchurched.

These destructive behaviors have
affected and infected our
Christian youth and left scars
of broken hearts, broken promises
and broken futures.

It is believed that our busy
schedules and the lack of family
time along with the media arena
of advertisements, television,
video's, music, and magazines
have been major contributors to
offering our youth colorful
self-indulgence, without the bleak
consequences of their actions.

Solution

This program offers youth an

energy ignites our youth to
say NO to teen sex, drugs,
and alcohol and to say YES
to living their precious lives,
to it's fullest potential.
We have crossed gender, racial
and denominational differences.
